Road at school to be gritted.
Some good news. Phil Flanagan MLA has been in touch to let us know that he has " today received some clarification from Roads Service (now Transport NI) that St Mary's Mullymesker has finally been granted approval to be included with the other schools to receive secondary treatment in the event of severe inclement weather. They have pointed out however, that this is not a preventative grit in the manner that takes place on primary routes, but more of a reactionary treatment during sever weather conditions, after the main routes have been treated." We will keep campaigning for the road to be gritted at all times but at least this is someting of a victory for us all. Thanks to everyone who wrote letters, made phone calls and badgered people. It worked !! Hopefully this year will be less eventful !!
