The second class in school to take part in the School Waste Challenge is P1.
We emptied our classroom bins to sort our waste. We sorted the contents into three groups.
Things that can be recycled, things that have to go to Landfill and things that can go in our school compost bin.
Then we weighed each group.
We will do this again in two weeks time to see if we can reduce the landfill group.
P 1 are very keen to do this and are really thinking about what things we can reduce recycle and reuse.
Our Eco team are very proud of their enthusiasm and gave the double thumbs 👍👍
