Keeping Up The Tradition of Making St.Brigid’s crosses in St. Mary’s🙏

P1 put on their wellies and went out for a walk to look for rushes.We were very surprised to find so many strong, long rushes in Arney!😄
We used our scissors to cut the rushes. We compared the length of the rushes.
Then we brought them back to our school garden and watched the teacher make some crosses for our classroom.Happy St. Brigid’s day on 1st February.Let’s hope St. Brigid brings a  dry, sunny Spring, that we can all enjoy outdoors🙏
