PTFA News: November 2016

 

The PTFA AGM took place on the 25th Oct, thanks to all who attended. We had a very successful year and our aim is to continue on the good work and develop more fun family activities for the year ahead.

We would like to thank the outgoing committee for all the hard work and dedication throughout the year.

The changes to the committee are as follows:

Edel Dolan- Chairperson

Una Greene- Secretary

Fiona Leonard- Treasurer

Christmas Cards:

£5 for a pack of 5 cards

Following huge success last year we will be offering the personalized Christmas Cards again this year. Templates for drawings to be sent home.

All drawings to be returned to school with child’s name, class, money and quantity required by the 16 Nov.

 

Family Table Quiz:

Sunday 20th Nov 3-5pm in the hall.

£20 per table

Raffle on the day with many great prizes.

Bag Pack at Tesco:

Sunday 11th Dec 1- 6pm

We are very fortunate to be offered a bag pack in Tesco before Christmas. This is a great opportunity and an easy fundraiser and so we need as many Volunteers as possible for 1 hour slots. Please let PTFA members know if you are available. More details to follow.

 

Christmas Show Thursday 15th December at 10 o’clock.

Volunteers needed to make tea and coffee etc.

Please see a member of the PTFA if you are available to help.

Class Reps:

We are looking for a parent from the P2 and P3 classes to volunteer as a class rep.

 

Halloween Crossword Activity:

The Children completed a Halloween crossword and puzzle sheet and the PTFA funded a prize for each class. The Winners are as follows:

The Giving Machine:

The PTFA have received £358.50 from the giving machine since started.
